Where do AR, VR, smart glasses and the Metaverse stand in Germany today – and where are they heading?

Based on representative Bitkom studies, this presentation provides a data-driven picture of the current state and future potential of immersive technologies. How widely are VR, AR and smart glasses already being used? How do consumers perceive them – and which future applications do they actually want?

The session then turns to business: How do German companies assess AR, VR and the Metaverse? How many are already using immersive technologies, where do they see their greatest potential, and how many plan to invest in them in the future?

From consumer adoption to enterprise and industrial XR, the numbers reveal where the Metaverse stands today – and where it might be heading next.
