Shaindy Alexander
Clinical Manager Child Life Program at SickKids Hospital

Shaindy Alexander has been practicing as a Certified Child Life Specialist for 23 years. In 2024 she took on the leadership role as clinical manager for Child Life team at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, Canada. During her professional career she has supported patients and families within palliative care, grief support, haematology/oncology, burns and plastic surgery, and critical care. She is passionate about partnering with youth, families and health care providers while advocating for children and teenagers to be included and supported throughout the illness journey.

Co-Founder and CCO at Glimpse Learning

D.J. Smith is Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Glimpse Learning, where he helps shape immersive learning and spatial computing solutions across education, healthcare and enterprise applications. A longtime leader in the XR industry, he previously co-founded The Glimpse Group (Nasdaq: VRAR), serving as its Chief Creative Officer and overseeing the development of VR and AR experiences across its ecosystem of companies. D.J. is also Co-Founder and Organizer of the New York Virtual Reality Meetup (NYVR), a long-running community connecting XR creators, technologists and industry leaders in New York City.
