FROM AUDIENCE TO AGENCY
WHY PARTICIPATION WILL DEFINE THE FUTURE OF IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES

Wed November 11, 2026 10:00 pm CET

What happens when audiences stop watching and start shaping the experience themselves?

For Charlene Nichols and Jay Pilipovich, the future of immersive experiences is not about building another place for people to visit. It is about giving them agency – the ability to explore, contribute, connect and influence what happens around them.

In this session, they introduce the idea of “Eventures” and show how it comes to life in Omniverse City: experiences designed not around passive audiences, but around active participation. Along the way, they explore how connected virtual worlds, communities, AI and real-world experiences can expand what participation means.

Then it’s your turn. Step into Omniverse City and experience the shift from audience to agency for yourself. Because the future of immersive experiences may not be something we watch. It may be something we help create.
