Athena Demos is co-founder and CEO of Big Rock Creative (BRC), an award-winning XR experience company specialising in innovative Social VR and Metaverse projects. She produced BRCvr presents BurnerSphere, an official virtual Burning Man experience, and social impact VR projects such as Breonna’s Garden and Pride Has No Borders. With a focus on creative collaboration in the Metaverse, Athena speaks globally about its potential and continues to pioneer immersive storytelling formats.

Doug Jacobson
Co-founder of Big Rock Creative

Doug Jacobson is an award-winning director and producer of immersive experiences, specializing in immersive storytelling across XR and social VR. As co-founder of Big Rock Creative, he has helmed some of the most ambitious projects in the space — from BRCvr, the fully immersive social VR recreation of Burning Man that debuted in 2020 and was featured in Wired, to BurnerSphere — their latest project, which just won Best Experience of the Year from the Academy of Immersive Arts and Sciences.
