What if the infrastructure of XR belonged not only to platforms and companies – but to the communities building its future?
Evo Heyning invites participants into the XR Guild Hall, a community-built space for exploring what an XR commons could look like in practice. From shared knowledge and the XR Guild Library to responsible design, collaboration and community-owned infrastructure, the session examines what resources an open and resilient XR ecosystem needs – and who should create and maintain them.
But a commons is something people build together. Following the presentation, participants are invited to contribute their own perspectives in an interactive workshop: What should belong to the XR commons? What is still missing? And what can the community start building together today?
