SPATIAL STORYTELLING
A CASE STUDY FROM THE FINANCIAL WORLD

Wed November 11, 2026 07:00 pm CET

What if a presentation wasn’t something you watched – but a space you could enter?

A boring slideshow in VR is still a boring slideshow. True to IMMERSIVE X’s credo “Experience, don’t tell,” this session explores what happens when we stop projecting information and start building it.

Step inside five years of European government bond yields transformed into a walkable mountain range: negative rates below sea level, the 2022 inflation shock rising like a cliff, and market disruptions cutting through the terrain like fault lines. Then discover how spatial architectures can turn content into journeys – from the spiral of a Helicoid to a Ziggurat, Enfilade or Paternoster – and how Gaussian splatting can bring real-world objects into virtual narratives.

For corporate communications, investor relations, sales, training – and everyone who has ever lost an audience at slide 47. Reclaim the corporate presentation: not as a deck, but as a space.

Christian Salow
CEO at altii.de

Christian Salow builds places out of financial data. As CEO of altii.de, he combines financial markets, immersive technology, and presentation design with one goal in mind: to make complex market data visible and walkable. His 3D interest rate terrain turns five years of European government bond yields into a mountain range, and his catalogue of seventeen presentation architectures, from Helicoid to Paternoster, explores how a run of slides becomes a place. He is convinced that data is only half the message: the other half is the shape it takes in space. At IMMERSIVE X he shows what spatial storytelling can do for one of the most data-driven industries there is.
