Mortality Murals Ephemeral Street Art in VR

Wed November 12, 2025 01:00 am CET

Street art is by nature ephemeral – painted over, weathered, or removed. But in VR, it can find new life. This immersive session invites participants into the Death Q&A World, where a curated collection of street art from around the globe opens space for reflection on impermanence and mortality. Guided by Tom Nickel, who has co-hosted weekly Death Drop-ins in VR since 2020, the tour combines thought-provoking visuals with contemplative conversation. From symbolic murals to provocative graffiti, we explore how public art helps us confront death, loss, and what remains. Join us as we step into a space where memory, presence, and perspective converge.
