XR allows us to rethink what a musical instrument can be, but designing them requires balancing creativity with practical constraints.  

This session looks at Geogroove, a mixed reality music experience built in Unreal Engine, as a case study in designing playable, spatial instruments. I’ll explore what worked, what didn’t, and how to design engaging musical tools across VR and MR platforms.
