Interactive audio books for Voice are stories in which passive listeners become active participants. Instead of a linear plot, there are paragraphs with decision questions for the user. Thus, the users determine the story and become the heroes of their own personal narrative.
In our session, we will play the interactive thriller “Tag X” we created in cooperation with Bayerischer Rundfunk live. During the session, all participants will vote on the decisions to be made. This way, you can get a quick understanding of the exciting and diverse field of “interactive storytelling for voice”.

Christian Mahnke is an interactive storyteller and founder of EarReality. He is the author of the interactive audio book series “The Magic Forest” and the interactive fantasy story “The Iron Falcon” (winner of the Amazon Alexa Games Skill Award 2018). In his quest for the perfect story, he is working on the development of new interactive storytelling formats for Voice.
With the storytelling tool TWIST, the Voice start-up EarReality offers authors and business partners an easy and quick way to create interactive stories, turn passive listeners into active players and send their target group on their very personal heroic journey.
